We were only in New Zealand for 10 days and a Dawn Appleby did a fantastic job of sorting through our interests and coming up with a fun itinerary that gave us a great introduction to the country. We can't wait to come back! We plan to use First Light Travel for our upcoming trip to Australia.

I can't say enough good things about our travel agent with First Light Travel. We had a vacation of a lifetime. It was better than we expected and we give most of the credit to Amelia Riwai for her recommendations and the way she accommodated our requests. From the tropical forests to the glaciers all the scenery was magnificent, even the misty, cloudy days were beautiful. Being able to be so close to the native wildlife was great. It was almost as if you couldn't take a bad picture because everything was so beautiful.

Chrissy did an outstanding job of taking our interests and time allotted, and creating a magical, unforgettable self-drive vacation for our family! We had exactly 2 weeks, not counting travel days, and Chrissy managed to make the most of that very short time, as we drove from Auckland to Queenstown, hitting all of the highlights in between, and arranged fabulous excursions for us with top-notch professional outfits. She arranged exactly the car we needed, the flights and times we needed, and wonderful accomodations on top of everything. Our vacation experience could not have been better. Dawn developed an itinerary for us which suited all of our needs and was perfect for us and the children. She carefully spaced things out so we had enough time to get places and to our activities.
