Oyster Farm
Ready to try some fresh seafood straight from the ocean? April brings with it cooler waters that are the perfect conditions for oysters! Head along to experience The Oyster Farm Shop at the American River Wharf and simply duck across the road to their working oyster farm.
During the tour, you can learn the art of shucking an oyster while you enjoy a glass of local beer or wine. The crew will guide you through how oysters are grown and teach you how to shuck your own. You’ll even get to take home your own shucking knife to enjoy these delicacies yourself.

Kayak Harriet River
