15. Toberua Island Resort
For a simple and intimate island getaway, you cannot get much better than the privately owned island of Toberua - complete with only 16 traditional Bures nestled amid four acres of golden sandy beaches and lush tropical forests. The choices of accommodation include premium, deluxe or tropical oceanfront Bures or a three-bedroom villa which is ideal for families or groups. Want to go with an even bigger group? The whole island can be hired out for 36 guests so is perfect for that destination wedding or celebration.

Picture white sand beaches, azure waters and volcanic island landscapes that pop out of the pacific ocean like bubbles of tropical paradise - that is the Yasawa Islands. Found north-west of Fiji’s mainland the island group can be reached by ferry, charter boat, cruise or even helicopter.
16. Octopus Resort
Located on Waya Island, one of the landmasses that join the southern tip of the Yasawas, Octopus Resort sits proudly on the shores welcoming visitors to these gorgeous Fijian islands.
The range of accommodations from budget to premium caters for a diverse mix of visitors who travel to these more remote locales along with an included meal plan and incredibly hospitable staff and local villagers. The journey from Vuda Point on the mainland to these sublime beaches and mountains takes around 1.5 hours by boat and the extra travel is very much worth it - even just for the incredible sunsets that you can experience from the western facing resort.

17. Paradise Cove
Quietly perched in a secret cove on the smaller Yasawa island of Naukacuvu, Paradise Cove is the kind of place you only hear about in novels.
