Board a ferry at Brooke Street Pier and sail upstream to the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA). No ordinary museum, MONA's main building has been cut deep into the sandstone cliffs, and has its own vineyards and brewery on-site! Even if museums aren't your thing, this one is absolutely unmissable.

Freycinet National Park
If you thought Tasmania couldn't get any more beautiful, Freycinet National Park will prove you wrong. Against a backdrop of pink granite mountains, you'll discover secluded bays, pristine waters, white sandy beaches, local wildlife, and incredible walking trails. Wineglass Bay is the jewel in Freycinet's crown. Nestled at the foot of the forest-covered mountains, you'll see a crescent of white sand bordering the emerald waters of the bay. Admire it from the Wineglass Bay lookout point or grab a picnic and hike down to one of the most beautiful beaches you have ever seen.

Freycinet National Park is rich in stunning landscapes. Kick back on miles of white sand at the friendly beaches and the secluded cove of Honeymoon Bay, or try snorkelling and diving off the rocky Sleepy Bay. Follow the 90-minute walk to Wineglass Bay lookout, which offers impressive views across the bay, especially at sunrise. Suggestions for the day include a morning paddle in beautiful Freycinet or see the Bicheno little blue penguins (30 mins from Freycinet). Or how about enjoying the ultimate oyster experience at the Freycinet Marine Farm. Alternatively take a cruise of Wineglass Bay or swim at secluded bays and one of the world's best beaches.
