For those with energy to burn, take a bus to the summit of Mount Wellington for panoramic views over the city of Hobart, Bruny Island, and the Tasman Peninsula. Then hike back into town via the historic Cascade Brewery, rewarding your efforts with a few tastings!

Board a ferry at Brooke Street Pier and sail upstream to the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA). No ordinary museum, MONA's main building has been cut deep into the sandstone cliffs, and has its own vineyards and brewery on-site! Even if museums aren't your thing, this one is absolutely unmissable.

Taste your way across Bruny Island visiting some of our favourite artisan producers on a gourmet adventure whilst taking in the spectacular scenery of Tasmania's favourite island. Be prepared for a delicious day out where you will enjoy award winning cheeses, premium wines and beer, freshly shucked oysters, handmade fudge, local honey and a delicious lunch at Pennicott's beachside restaurant with sweeping views of Adventure Bay.

The local Aboriginals called the island Lunawanna-alonna which explains why two of the island's small settlements are named Lunawanna and Alonnah.

If you thought Tasmania couldn't get any more beautiful, Freycinet National Park will prove you wrong. Against a backdrop of pink granite mountains, you'll discover secluded bays, pristine waters, white sandy beaches, local wildlife, and incredible walking trails. Wineglass Bay is the jewel in Freycinet's crown. Nestled at the foot of the forest-covered mountains, you'll see a crescent of white sand bordering the emerald waters of the bay. Admire it from the Wineglass Bay lookout point or grab a picnic and hike down to one of the most beautiful beaches you have ever seen.

Set sail across the turquoise waters of Wineglass Bay; take in the sheer beauty of Wineglass Bay from the rarely seen perspective of the water, a shimmering crescent of white sand fringes spilling into glass turquoise waters. Uncover the rich history of the region, including aboriginal heritage and tales of early explorers and entrepreneurs. Sit back, relax, and watchout for humpback whales, dolphins, and sea eagles as you are taken from the gentle shores of Coles Bay, to one of the world's most beautiful beaches.

Freycinet National Park is rich in stunning landscapes. Kick back on miles of white sand at the friendly beaches and the secluded cove of Honeymoon Bay, or try snorkelling and diving off the rocky Sleepy Bay. Follow the 90-minute walk to Wineglass Bay lookout, which offers impressive views across the bay, especially at sunrise. Suggestions for the day include a morning paddle in beautiful Freycinet or see the Bicheno little blue penguins (30 mins from Freycinet). Or how about enjoying the ultimate oyster experience at the Freycinet Marine Farm. Alternatively take a cruise of Wineglass Bay or swim at secluded bays and one of the world's best beaches.

After a wonderful trip, travel approximately 2 hours 45 minutes back to Hobart Airport and return your rental vehicle prior to your onward flight Today we say farewell. There may be time for some last minute excursions or shopping before you head home.
