Port Augusta
"Crossroads of Australia" and Gateway to the Flinders Ranges - Port Augusta is situated on the quiet waterways at the head of the Spencer Gulf, in close proximity to the spectacular Flinders Ranges. Off to the west and south-west lie a range of hills which once marked the territory of the Nukunu Aboriginal tribe, and to the north-west are two remarkable flat-topped mounts, peacefully lying underneath the sky's vast blue canopy. Port Augusta offers all the conveniences and facilities expected from a modern city.

Travel to the Flinders Range National Park
Stunningly beautiful and featuring some geological marvels such as Wilpena Pound, the Flinders Ranges stretch more than 300 kilometers from Jamestown in the south to the Gammon Ranges in the north. The Ranges is the gateway to the outback and boasts towering rock walls, spectacular gorges, abundant wildlife, and Aboriginal culture, dating back millions of years.
Driving through the Flinders Ranges, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were navigating the unexplored face of Mars. Towering ancient cliffs and deep craters border dusty red roads.
You have reached the heart of South Australia's outback, yet just an easy journey from Adelaide, the Flinders Ranges is one of the world's ultimate destinations

Lake Eyre & Muloorina Station Scenic Flight
Enjoy excellent views of Outback South Australia with a scenic flight over Wilpena Pound and Brachina Gorge. Pass over Parachilna, the township of Marree and awe-inspiring Lake Eyre. After marvelling at the vastness of Lake Eyre, land at Muloorina Station, a remote 400,000 hectare property south of Lake Eyre.
The return flight passes over the Leigh Creek open-cut coal fields and the Gammon Ranges.

Sunset on the Chace 4WD Tour
Watch a brilliant Flinders Ranges sunset overlooking the stunning Chace Range, whilst enjoying a glass of sparkling wine and gourmet canapés prepared by the Woolshed Restaurant. The 40 minute drive through the property provides a great opportunity to see native wildlife unused to human encounters.
Wilpena Pound provides a stunning backdrop to this two-hour tour.
