Enjoy a scenic drive along Tasmania’s East Coast to the Freycinet Peninsula, with its exceptional beauty, pristine white sandy beaches, and granite coastline. Explore the unsurpassed beauty of the Freycinet National Park. Take an interpreted walk to the world famous Wineglass Bay Lookout for some stunning photo opportunities. A shorter cli­ff top walk around the lighthouse at Cape Tourville is also on offer.

Continue your journey to Launceston for an introductory tour to Tasmania’s largest northern city; explore the scenic Cataract Gorge where the Tamar River forces its way through sheer rocky cliffs. Enjoy lunch at an award winning winery. After lunch leave Launceston and travel to UNESCO World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain National Park.

Dove Lake & Launceston

Today, your guide will introduce you to the many endemic fauna and flora species of the region, whilst enjoying picturesque views of the spectacular craggy peaks of Cradle Mountain. After lunch, start your return journey to Launceston where your guide will bid you farewell.

Note: This tour concludes at approximately 4.30 pm in Launceston. (It is recommended to book departing flights after 6 pm)
