Travel to Hobart
Before heading back to Hobart today make a visit to ‘The Friendlys’ (as these beaches are known to locals). While lesser known than the lauded Wineglass Bay, the Friendlys are certainly just as spectacular. Set among powder-white dunes and coastal heathland, clichéd descriptions are justified when describing these stunning beaches.
Your drive back to Hobart will be leisurely, stop off at Orford, if you were wanting to visit Maria Island this is the closest coastal town with access via a 25 minute ferry across to the Island.
Approximate Distance: 195 km | 120 miles Total Driving Time: 2 hours 30 mins
Accommodation: Hobart - 2 Nights

Hobart at Leisure
Tasmania's capital city packs a lot of punch despite its small size. From exciting restaurants and exceptional wine to unusual cultural experiences and incredible scenery, Hobart is full to the brim with exciting things to do, see and taste.
A couple of Suggestions: Check out the MONA the Museum of Old and New Art - its highly recommended. If you are here on a Saturday a must-see is the Salamanca Farm Gate Markets or Visit Bruny Island (both amazing) - So much on offer!
What Tatyana says about this tour: This trip really appeals to me personally - there is time to relax , unwind or explore as much as you choose on this 8 day trip. You get time to hike, relax at the beach or take any of the amazing cruises on offer at Wineglass Bay or Maria Island. This trip has enough time to really spoil yourself in a pristine environment.
