Sunrise at Uluru & Field of Light
As you start your sunrise trek around the 12 kilometre base trail of Uluru you will embrace the culture, geology and environment that is the essence of this amazing monolith. Along the trail you will witness sunrise, visit waterholes and the rock art sites of the ancients and learn of Uluru's cultural significance to the Anangu (local Aboriginal) people.

You’re welcomed at an exclusive dune top just after the sun has set on the horizon. Savour a selection of outback canapes with sparkling wine or beer as your host provides insight into the light installation that awaits you. As darkness falls, 50,000 glass spheres gently come to life. Covered under a sky brilliant with stars, Field of Light beckons you to explore and lose yourself momentarily in the rhythms of coloured light.

Uluru - Kings Canyon
Awe-inspiring Kings Canyon is your destination today. You have the option to stop for a lunch break at Kings Creek Station, the largest exporter of wild camels in Australia, and hear the intriguing story of owners Ian and Lynn Conway and their dedication to Aboriginal children in the region’s remote communities.
Continue to Kings Canyon, a spectacular natural formation whose sheer sandstone walls soar to a height of over 100 metres (328 ft). A 6km (3.7 miles) ‘rim walk’ around the canyon will reward you with marvelous views of Watarrka National Park. An easier walk along the canyon’s boulder-strewn creek bed is another option.

Kings Canyon - Alice Springs
Gaze across the deep chasm at the edge of Kings Canyon as you embark on a sunrise 6km rim walk past the domed ‘Lost City' and down into the luscious ‘Garden of Eden'. Now exploring on your way to Alice Springs. Immerse yourself this evening against the backdrop of the Outback, enjoying an open-air dinner around a campfire with your local hosts, as the Milky Way lights up the sky.

Farewell From Alice Springs
This epic adventure is almost at its end, but not before the West MacDonnell Ranges takes centre stage today as you explore on a walk through the dramatic Simpsons Gap. You'll also visit the historic Overland Telegraph Station and discover how Australia's north and south got connected.
